In February 24, 2005, we and our co-counsel, Aaron Kaufmann, filed a
class action and Business and Professions Code section 17200
representative action against Raley's, Bel-Air Mart, and Nob Hill
General Store on behalf of all Assistant Managers, Second Assistant
Managers and Assistant Managers Grocery for the period May 1999 through
May 2003. Among other things, the Complaint alleges that Raley's,
Bel-Air Mart, and Nob Hill General Store misclassified its Assistant
Managers, Second Assistant Managers and Assistant Managers Grocery as
exempt and did not pay them overtime for overtime hours worked.
